Bach to Rock Keeps the Music Playing at Local Preschool

Bach to Rock and the preschool program at Trinity United Methodist have come together to bring music into the lives of 25 young children in the community.

When the music coordinator at Trinity Preschool left, it also left a hole in their arts programs.  The Trinity class coordinator feels very strongly about what music education adds to the students’ lives and curriculum.  Enter Bach to Rock and the McLean location’s director, Nayan Bhula.  She worked out a last-minute plan with Trinity to keep the music program alive for the kids, ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old.  Now, a Bach to Rock teacher visits the class weekly.

Bach to Rock (B2R) is a music education school for students of all ages from early childhood through high school and beyond. B2R knows learning music should be fun and students learn best when they play music they enjoy. B2R builds technique, fosters teamwork and enhances self-esteem.
