Franchising Newcomers Are A Diverse Bunch

The 111 franchises on the following pages represent a wide range of businesses, everything from medical staffing to music schools to mobile drug testing. What do these companies have in common? They all started franchising in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

But don’t assume that being new to franchising means being new to business. Some of these companies were around for decades before they took the plunge into franchising. Others are new ventures from veterans of the franchise world, like Team Makers, a character-development program from the founders of The Mad Science Group, or TGA Premier Youth Tennis, a spinoff of the popular TGA Premier Junior Golf.
