Bach to Rock is Providing Much-needed Stop Gap Measures to Fill Children’s Summers with Meaning and Hope
Washington, D.C. Metro Area County Summer Camps Will Not Operate Due to COVID-19
WHAT: Bach to Rock Music School, along with other businesses in the D.C. Metro Region, are now offering virtual summer camps to help families fill the void. With Bach to Rock, children can learn to play guitar, piano, ukulele, or drums and also learn to sing during daily sessions for week-long intervals. Options are also available for music production and songwriting.
WHY: Hundreds of county camp programs will not operate this summer, leaving many families with limited options to help fill their children’s summer days. Private companies are working to fill this gap with online camp offerings. Online camps can provide children with safe, creative and fun outlets to continue learning and enjoy the summer.
WHEN: Effective immediately, Bach to Rock is offering 45-minute to 90-minute sessions each day for a week for the entire summer. Scheduling is based on school location.
WHERE: Bach to Rock is offering virtual summer camps, including mini-camps for children aged 5 and up, at all of its Northern Virginia and Maryland locations.
