B2R Gaithersburg Student Awarded scholarship to Berklee 5 Week Program

We’re happy to announce that B2R Music student Ian Aleman has been awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music’s 5 Week Program. Ian’s been taking lessons at our Gaithersburg location for the last several years and has also been in one of our longer standing bands, Throwing Wrenches.

To be considered for this opportunity, Ian had to submit an audition recording as well as live performance videos. He worked on his audition recording during his private lessons, then recorded the final session all in the studio at B2R Music Gaithersburg. The videos he submitted were a mix of videos from his band playing at B2R’s Battle of the Bands as well as a local show the band played at the Electric Maid in Washington DC.
