Student of the Month – Anjali K

Our Student of the Month (October 2024) is Anjali K., who takes Voice lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta. Read the Q&As below to find out more about her!

Q: What inspired you to take voice lessons?

A: I just realized that I love singing and that I wanted to pursue it.

Q: What is your favorite style of music?

A: Pop music is my favorite style.

Q: Who is your favorite artist and why?

A: My favorite artist is Taylor Swift because she is a great singer and puts everything into her music.

Q: What is your favorite song to play?

A: Best Friend Breakup by Lauren Spencer Smith.

Q: What are you learning right now in your lessons?

A: Part of your World from The Little Mermaid.

Q: What are you most looking forward to learning/performing?

A: Also, Part of your World from The Little Mermaid.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock?

A: Continuous learning.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your teacher?

A: I love that she always encourages me to try to be better.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music? 

A: I love to read!!

Ms. Riley has been Anjali’s Voice Teacher since September of 2024 and has quickly learned to love teaching a student of this caliber. She says:
