Student of the Month – Genesis F

Our Student of the Month (September 2024) is Genesis F., who takes Violin lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta. Read the Q&As below to find out more about her!

Q: What inspired you to play music?

A:  The beautiful music that the violin makes.

Q: What is your favorite style of music?

A:  My favorite style of music is Jazz.

Q: Who is your favorite artist and why?

A: Sza, her songs sound so beautiful!

Q: What is your favorite song to play?

A: Any Christmas songs.

Q: What are you learning right now in your lessons?

A: We are currently working on holding the bow properly.

Q: What are you most looking forward to learning/performing?

A: I would love to perform faster violin songs.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock?

A: My favorite thing about Bach to Rock is the people, and musical collaboration.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your teacher?

A: My teacher Ms. Megan is super nice!

Q: What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music?

A: I like to crochet when I am not playing music.
