Student of the Month – Julia C

Our Student of the Month (March 2023) is Julia C., who takes Piano lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta. Read the Q&As below to find out more about her!  

Q: What inspired you to play music? 

 A: I do ballet and always thought it would be cool to play a song and dance to it.  

Q: What is your favorite style of music?   

A: Pop   

Q: Who is your favorite artist and why?   

A: My favorite artist is Meghan Trainor because she has a lot of fun songs.   

Q: What is your favorite song to play?   

A: Made You Look.   

Q: What are you learning right now in your lessons?   

A: I am learning how to play the song, ” A Million Dreams”.  

Q: What are you most looking forward to learning/performing?   

A: “Another Day of Sun” from La La Land  

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock?   

A: My favorite thing about Bach to Rock is that it is fun, not just learning with workbooks.   

Q: What is your favorite thing about your teacher?   

A: My favorite thing about my teacher is that he is very excited and always believes that I can do it when I am struggling with something.  

Q: What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music?   

A: I like to practice ballet when I am not playing music.  

Mr. AJ has been Julia’s Piano Teacher as of September 2022, and has shared his thoughts on teaching Julia: 

 “I like teaching Julia because she has a passion for music, she is always engaged with what I’m teaching her. And I can tell she goes home and practices because there is great progress in every class! I’m extremely proud of her and the young lady she is becoming!”
