Bach to Rock to Relocate, Expand School

In July, music school chain Bach to Rock announced plans to relocate its school in Herndon, Va. The new location, also in Herndon, will accommodate not only a school but also the company’s first franchisee training facility. This 4,000-square-foot facility will feature new technology, computer and software availability, and traditional instrumental instruction. Franchisees will be trained in the company’s method, management and administration of a school, along with its Web-based management system and advertising and marketing programs. The school also features Beat Refinery, a DJ school.

Bach to Rock takes a “team sport” approach to teaching by coupling individual instruction with group jam sessions. The first corporate-owned location in Bethesda Md., opened in 2007.
