Our Safety Protocols
The health and safety of our students, teachers, and staff remain our top priority. We believe OUR PROTOCOLS ARE AMONG THE MOST STRINGENT you will find at any music school in our area.
With our large lesson rooms averaging over 165 square feet each, we can accommodate a student-teacher distance of at least 6-10 feet. In addition, we have clear barriers between teacher and student. We also have proper signage around the school indicating 6 feet of spacing.
All students, teachers, parents, and staff entering the school have their temperature taken, and all are required to wear a mask while in the facility. We provide disposable masks for those who need them.
We also have touchless hand sanitizer dispensers available as soon as you enter the school, by the performance space, and just outside the bathrooms. Hand sanitizer is available in all lesson rooms. Teachers and students must sanitize and/or wash their hands before and after each lesson.
All major touching surfaces/instruments are cleaned throughout the day and all students who are able to bring their own instrument to a lesson are strongly encouraged to do so. Our daily cleaning procedures also include sanitizing each room multiple times a day. We have an electrostatic sprayer which will allow for an even and thorough distribution of antiviral cleanser.
Our early childhood and group classes have been size-limited.
Lastly, we have installed CDC-recommended MERV-13 AIR FILTRATION, which filters out viruses, so our air is constantly cleaned, 24 x 7.
We continue to offer virtual lessons for those who are not comfortable returning just yet.
If you are showing any symptoms or have recently been in contact with someone positive for Covid 19, we ask that you stay home and take your lesson virtually or call us ahead of time to reschedule.
