Cyrus Discovered His Hidden Talent at Bach to Rock

Cyrus takes drum lessons at Bach to Rock and is also part of a B2R Band!

Nineteen-year-old Cyrus has been a drummer and piano player since age five, when he started piano lessons and music therapy.  Cyrus is autistic and recently, his parents began looking for a music school that would accommodate his unique style of learning.  Now, after just one year of lessons at Bach to Rock, a true gift has been uncovered – his perfect pitch!  Cyrus’s mom, Maria, shared, “Bach to Rock’s wonderful staff and instructors helped us confirm Cyrus’s gift of perfect pitch. He has grown immensely this past year fine-tuning his amazing ear for pitch and intervals.”  Maria chose Bach to Rock because she appreciated the opportunities for inclusion and really liked the instructors.

As for Cyrus, he said that he loves the flexibility to be himself while developing his incredible recall skills on piano and drums.  He and his mom are excited to see how he will use his perfect pitch to expand his musical capabilities!
