Beginner students start with rhythm basics and drumming fundamentals. As they move up, students learn music theory and core skills like accents, rolls, and basic fills. In later levels, drummers learn advanced time signatures and drumming techniques.

Bach to Rock offers a range of drum lessons for kids and adults. Our programs include private lessons, beginner classes, and early childhood programs. All of our drum classes and lessons are taught by drumming experts, including pro musicians. Lessons are available both in-person and online.
We make drumming lessons fun by letting students choose the songs they practice and play. Our song library includes a wide range of genres, with arrangements for drummers of all skill levels!
Students can choose songs by artists like Stevie Wonder, Modest Mouse, Led Zeppelin, Blink-182, and Coldplay!
Private Drumming Lessons
Students who benefit from one-on-one instruction can build their skills in private lessons. Our private drumming and percussion lessons come with direct instruction, feedback, and encouragement.
Semi-Private Drumming Lessons
Learning to play drums with a friend can double the fun of music lessons! We offer semi-private lessons for groups of 2 students.
Beginner Drumming Classes
Want to give your child a head start on the drums? Our Drums 101 classes build a foundation of core skills for aspiring drummers. After this 10-week beginner class, students will have all of the fundamentals they need for playing the drums.
Adult Drumming Lessons
It’s never too late to start learning the drums! We welcome adult students who are new to the drums, as well as experienced drummers who want to hone their skills.
